Club Birthday (webisode)

Club Birthday is a special My Scene webisode. It is part of the Club Birthday doll line.

Plot[]

Nolee's sixteenth birthday is coming up soon, so her friends (boys and girls included) are planning her a big surprise Sweet 16 party. But there's some problems along the way -- for example, Barbie (the "Party Queen"), who had taken the lead in planning/organizing the party for Nolee, claims that the first problem they ran into was with the dress they had gotten for Nolee as her outfit for the party: a freaked-out Madison called Barbie in a panic, explaining that the place they ordered Nolee's party outfit from gave them the wrong dress. Since it was too late to just go out and get a replacement at that point, Barbie sends Chelsea (a "Funky Fashion Designer") over to completely redesign the dress.

Once Chelsea's done, the dress they got looks totally different from when they first got it (and is much more appropriate for the kind of party that the girls are throwing for Nolee). Madison expresses amazement that it's technically the same dress while Barbie expresses amazement that Madison (a "Shopping Superstar") was able to get everything on Nolee's birthday wish list. Madison insists that it was no trouble, claiming that shopping for Nolee (one of her closest friends) was really fun. Despite that, Madison insists that there's no way that she or any of her and Nolee's other friends could've topped what Nolee's parents got her as a birthday present.

As they're finishing up the final preparations for Nolee's party in the place that they rented out for it (making it look like a nightclub), Madison reveals to Barbie and Chelsea reveals that Nolee's parents bought their daughter a car -- the girls are very excited for their friend, noting that Nolee's going to be very surprised later that night.

Later, Nolee's friends are helping her get ready for the party: first by giving her the dress they bought her and some of the presents that Madison had gotten. They take Nolee to the party, where they all have tons of fun and Nolee opens up the rest of her presents. When it's just Nolee and the rest of the girls left at the party, Barbie and the others reveal the car that Nolee's parents got her for her birthday.

The episode ends with the four girls riding off in Nolee's new car.

Barbie (narrative): So, I'm a party queen, right? Well, planning Nolee's surprise birthday party wasn't easy. It all started with the dress we bought for her birthday.

Chelsea (narrative): The girls were stressing about Nolee's dress, but there's nothing a little snipping and sewing can't fix, cause I'm a funky fashion designer.

Madison (narrative): What can I say? I'm a shopping superstar, and shopping for Nolee was fun, but there is no way we can top what her parents bought for her birthday.
