Delancey's mom was first mentioned in Chelsea's journal. Delancey's mom sent Chelsea digital photos of Delancey so Chelsea could see how Delancey looked. The fact that she is Chelsea's aunt is also mentioned in the Hanging Out webisodes. Delancey explains to Chelsea that her mom expects them to get along well even though they haven't seen each other for many years. Delancey's parents are mentioned in My Scene: Jammin' in Jamaica because they were renting a beach house that the My Scene girls stayed in while they were in Jamaica for the Beat to Beat competition. Delancey's parents used to live in California, but they moved to New York with Delancey. Delancey's mother is also mentioned in Delancey's journal and in Kennedy's journal, where it is stated that she is a film producer.
